After years of touring and teaching music, I took some time to evaluate how I wanted to grow, and decided to pursue development as an opportunity to work on creative and challenging projects in a driven, team-based environment. After doing some self-education I signed up for a Bootcamp, started building websites, and now I'm here!
I love the feeling of solving puzzles and making things. My favorite thing in web development is the feeling of seeing a new site come together. It's magical to see something go from meetings, sketches, and loose notes to something tangible, or at least as tangible as a website can be. Wrapping my head around a problem and creating something that didn't exist before is immensely rewarding to me.
I am a pretty active musician and music-appreciator, and I spend much of my time playing, writing, and recording. The most reliable way to get me out of the house is to take me to a show of some kind. I love outsider art and am always ready to experience something new and strange. I also love to design and play Tabletop Role-Playing Games like Dungeons and Dragons, and I am usually in at least two weekly play groups.
